In this exciting traveling science workshop, Liberty Science Center brings their “Swell Cells” program to all of the 7th grade science classes.
During this workshop students will explore the crosscutting concept of structure and function in the human body from the cells up. Hands-on learning will happen as they build a model cell and learn how cells with similar structures form tissues. They will also gain an understanding of how these tissues create organs, which then become part of systems that make the body work.
